What are the common manufacturing processes of plexiglass display stand?
|
There are many plexiglass display shelves on the market. There are places where it needs to be displayed, but we know how much its manufacturing technology is. Let's explain it today!
Plexiglass display racks are mainly made of plexiglass plates. There are six common processes as follows:
1. Sawing: use a saw to process and cut materials, which can be cut straight or curved. Select a special saw blade, the cutting effect will be better.
2. Hot cutting processing: when the cutting route is curved and complex, the plexiglass can be cut with a hot cutting saw, but the edge of the plexiglass cut with the hot cutting saw is thick and uneven, so the hot cutting molding can only be rough embryo processing, and the hot cutting outside the standard line of the finished product leaves room for finishing processing, otherwise it will be smaller than the size of the design drawing after finishing processing.
3. Hot bending processing: we found that many plexiglass display racks are bent, which is the use of hot bending processing. The hot bending process must use the hot bender. The hot bending first puts the part of the plate to be folded on the hot bender to bake soft, and then bends it on the edge of the table. After the temperature of plexiglass cools, the angle is fixed into a bending shape.
4. Cutting and folding processing: the first step in processing plexiglass display frame is sawing. Sawing the plate is also the most common cutting method. The cutting and folding process is a linear cutting method. Put the ruler on the plate to be processed and cut, the edge of the ruler coincides with the cutting line, and fix the ruler, so it is a straight line. Drag along the edge of the ruler with a hook knife and draw a thin groove on the plate. When the depth of the thin groove is about half the thickness of the plexiglass plate, put the plexiglass plate on the edge of the table and make the thin groove coincide with the edge of the table. Press the plate inside the table with one hand and the plate outside the table with the other hand and press it down hard, and the plexiglass will break neatly from the position of the hook.
5. Cutting: the cutting is processed by lathe. When the processing size of plexiglass display frame is required to be very precise and punctual, it needs to be cut by lathe, so as to ensure the accuracy of size. It is worth noting that the cutting tool should be clean and free of debris to avoid scratching the plexiglass.
6. File processing: file is filed with a file, and filing is finish processing. For example, the edge of sawn plexiglass is rough and sharp, so it needs to be filed. The batch edge can be removed to make it smooth and do not scratch your hand. In addition, if the size is too large, it should also be slightly corrected with setbacks to meet the size requirements.
